After a slow start on the T-side, North came back to beat Liquid 16-12 on Nuke and reach the Group B winner's match against Ninjas in Pyjamas. The fourth match of the day took place on Nuke, where Liquid won the initial pistol round by cleanly retaking the A site from their Danish opponents. Taking full advantage of their CT-side start, the North Americans rushed ahead to a 6-0 lead before North could respond. Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and co. men then won two rounds, the first on the back of a quad-kill from the 20-year-old, after which Liquid won a pair of their own to lead 8-2. North then gathered their wits to win four rounds in a row, one of which included a quad-kill by Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså, and would ultimately reach a respectable 6-8 deficit before switching to the defensive side. ![]() Here, the Danes started out strong by winning the second pistol round as well as the following anti-eco, which featured an M4A1 ace from valde. Casper "cadiaN" Møller's men gave Liquid no respite for a good while and reached a 13-9 lead before the North Americans got on the board as Terrorists. Nick "nitr0" Cannella's troops won two in a row, got reset in the next, but then successfully took the B site with only pistols to put themselves in a fairly good position to even things out. North fended off the comeback, though, as the Danes managed two tight holds on the A site to close things out 16-12. ECS Season 6 FinalsBest of 1![]() ![]()
