A 2-0 victory over MOUZ (16-13 Inferno, 16-7 Nuke) gave fnatic their third victory in ESL Pro League Season 11 Europe - Stage 2. MOUZ secured wins over OG, FaZe, and Natus Vincere in ESL Pro League Stage 2, but their undefeated run has come to an end after today's match against fnatic. The Swedish side was in control for the majority of the series and closed it out 2-0 to move towards the top of the group. Robin "flusha" Rönnquist's knife kill on Robin "ropz" Kool secured fnatic the T pistol round on Inferno, the Swedes map pick, but David "frozen" Čerňanský's quad-kill on the force saw MOUZ grab the lead early on. After MOUZ was 5-1 up, fnatic managed to get back into the game as rounds were traded back and forth, favoring the T side. The score was 7-5 when Finn "karrigan" Andersen won a miracle round on Banana with the AWP, but the Swedish side still managed to reach seven before the half. fnatic were faked out on the pistol and MOUZ extended their lead to 11-7 early into the second half, but Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson locked down B in the first rifle round with a quad kill to keep the European side from grabbing control of the map. fnatic then looked comfortable, winning eight in a row to reach map point (15-11), eventually closing out Inferno 16-13. ![]() Maikil "Golden" Selim was crisp in the pistol round on Nuke, nailing three headshots to set up fnatic for a good start on their opponents' map pick. The score was 8-2 for the Swedes before MOUZ finally started to find some success with frozen picking up seven kills in a four-round stretch. The European side was looking good to finish the half just one round behind, but Golden picked up another triple to end the half with fnatic 9-6 ahead. Following the switch, fnatic took the pistol and converted the following two to go 12-6 up, before hitting MOUZ with two fast rounds to reach 14. karrigan's men only mustered one round on the defense before fnatic closed it out, 16-7, to take the series win.
