Astralis are the first team through to the ELEAGUE Premier grand final after securing a 2-0 win over MOUZ (Nuke 16-11, Mirage 16-10). Astralis chose Nuke to kick off the series and quickly grabbed a 3-0 lead as Terrorists before the two sides began to trade the first gunrounds. Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander broke the back-and-forth with a 1v3 clutch on the lower bombsite, as the Danes rallied to a 7-2 scoreline. MOUZ went on to grab four more rounds in the half to give themselves a chance, courtesy of quad-kills from Robin "ropz" Kool and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski defending ramp and the upper bombsite, respectively. Switching over to the Counter-Terrorists, Astralis regained the upper hand, in large part thanks to Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, who gave his team the pistol round and the first gunround. ![]() Chris "chrisJ" de Jong & co. attempted to come back from a seven-round deficit, stringing five together on the offense, but gla1ve stepped up to the plate with seven kills over the last three rounds, with Astralis securing the opening map at 16-11. Mirage followed as MOUZ' pick, but the European team soon found themselves up against the ropes as Astralis dominated the defense. Only the third round went MOUZ' way as gla1ve's team strolled to an 8-1 lead. Astralis only conceded two more rounds to a couple of A executes for a 12-3 halftime score, and even though they lost the second pistol, they were able to clinch a clean forcebuy to get within touching distance of the victory. MOUZ still fought back after Snax picked up five kills while defending two B executes in a row, but, in the end, Astralis didn't let the map get too close. Once Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's side reached double digits, gla1ve clutched a 1v1 to pull off the 2-0 win. ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018Best of 3![]() ![]()
