The German side BIG has earned a promotion to ESL Pro League by beating PENTA in the deciding match of the relegation playoffs 2-0 (16-8 Inferno, 19-17 Cobblestone).

In the EPL Relegation playoffs, both BIG and PENTA lost to HellRaisers, which dropped them to the lower bracket. Yesterday, the European mixture PENTA managed to overcome the legendary Polish side Virtus.pro to send them into ESEA Premier and keep their own Pro League dream alive.

Today, the two German based organizations played a rematch of the ESEA Global Challenge LAN finals, where PENTA took the 2-0 victory and the title. PENTA's map pick stayed the same for this series, while BIG picked Cobblestone instead of Cache, which they lost in Leicester.

The series started with PENTA getting a solid 7-round Terrorist side on Inferno, but we once again saw how deadly the combination of Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz's fragging and Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik's calling is on that map when BIG took switched to the offensive side. Dropping only one round in the second half, BIG secured the first map with a 16-8 scoreline.

On Cobblestone, BIG's CT sides were exposed, as a 11-4 first half lead wasn't enough for the Germans to close out the map without going to overtime. In the end, it was a team effort that got BIG the win on the second map, making it 2-0 and securing their Pro League promotion.
